Turnout is total votes cast (valid plus rejected) divided by registered voters, both as declared by INEC in the national return, truncated to two decimal places; a figure exactly on a band edge falls in the higher band (2023: 26.71%). Uses INEC's declared first-round result for the 16 January 2027 presidential election (state results, Form EC8D; national return, Form EC8E). Later tribunal or court judgments and any runoff are ignored. A postponed poll follows the rescheduled first round; void if INEC has published no result by 30 June 2027.
