Who will INEC declare winner of the 16 January 2027 presidential first round?
Bola Tinubu (APC) 44%
No first-round winner (runoff) 27%
Atiku Abubakar (ADC) 14%
Peter Obi (NDC) 14%
Resolves to the candidate INEC declares elected President after the first-round ballot of the 16 January 2027 election (the declaration at the National Collation Centre, Form EC8E). If INEC declares that no candidate met s.134(2) of the Constitution (most votes and at least 25% in two-thirds of the 36 states and the FCT) and orders a second election, resolves 'No first-round winner (runoff)'; the runoff itself is irrelevant. A named outcome means that person; anyone else declared elected resolves 'Another candidate'. Later tribunal or court judgments are ignored. A postponed poll follows the rescheduled first round; void if INEC has made no declaration by 30 June 2027.
